Getting rid of unwelcome hair can be irritating. Shaving and waxing, or other common forms of removing hair are boring duties that can take for too long. Also, to sustain control of the unwelcome hair you have to remove it at least every other day. Thankfully, there are two current medical treatments that are approved by the Food and Drug Administration as safe ways of removing hair permanently.
One method is electrolysis. In this treatment needles are inserted into each unwanted hair follicle and zapped with a boost of energy which kills the hair follicle and leaves it unable to produce more hair. This procedure can last a quite awhile because the number of hair follicles in need of destruction is many. In addition, the thought of having needles inserted into the skin may be too stressful even though they do not hurt.
Laser hair removal is the other treatment. A powerful beam of light, or a laser, if used to kill hair follicles in this method. This method takes less time because a laser can treat a pertain of hair follicles instead of only killing a single one each time. Yet, it also has a risk of causing slight scarring or burning.
Neither of these methods will give you perfect results with just one treatment. Additional treatments may be needed in order to destroy any hair follicles that were missed or simply were not in the proper stage to allow for removal.
The cost of these methods may seem too pricey; although, keep in mind, these treatments are permanent. This is only a single expense, and at the same time, temporary hair removal methods require a purchase each week, which can actually add up to more than the price of the permanent removal. You should also consider how valuable your time is. If you are a busy person your time is exceptionally valuable and eliminating the time it takes you to remove hair each day may be more beneficial to you.
Whatever method you end up choosing to remove facial hair, just make sure you research your options further before making any haste decisions.
